Vestry
The Role of the Vestry
The Vestry is called to assist in planning the mission and vision of the church, to lead and support both parish and clergy in community, to manage resources and finances for the parish, and to be active and visible with a non-anxious presence in ministry and parish life. To be effective, all of these actions should rely on the guidance of God and the direction of the Holy Spirit.
The Trinity Vestry has 12 members who are elected to three-year terms on a rotating basis. Elections are held in the fall, with new Vestry terms beginning the following January.
To become a member of the Vestry, a parishioner should be an active member in good standing. If you have further interest in the role of the Vestry at Trinity or feel called by God and the Holy Spirit to serve on the Vestry, please contact any Vestry member or our clergy.
