Evangelism Ministires - Trinity Episcopal Church
The Evangelism Committee welcomes and encourages newcomers, visitors and all parishioners
to share in the life of Trinity Episcopal Church. It provides opportunities to experience
hospitality, friendship and fellowship. Our focus is on growth in our relationship
with Christ and our relationships with each other.
Bread Ministry Teams
The Bread Ministry Team provides a means of evangelism that is expressed through
hospitality. This ministry allows us to welcome everyone who walks through the doors
of our church. We are not visiting with the homeowners or pressing them for a decision.
We are simply saying, “God loves you. We love you. Welcome!” The Bread
Ministry consists of two interdependent halves: Bread Bakers are couples or individuals
who are our faithful bakers of loaves of bread, and Bread Deliverers who deliver
the baked bread each Sunday to those who visited our church on that day.
Greeters
These individuals greet and welcome all who attend worship services. They identify
newcomers and visitors, welcome them with warmth and enthusiasm, and provide information
as necessary.

Ushers
This ministry is done simultaneously with greeting. Ushers provide worshippers with
bulletins, direct seating (as required), collect the offering and count and record
attendance.
Newcomers' Dinners
These casual monthly dinners provide newcomers a more intimate environment in which
to meet with the rectors and leaders of the Parish Council of Trinity Episcopal
Church. These dinners also provide an excellent atmosphere for newcomers to learn
more about the many ministries and opportunities available at Trinity. All newcomers
are encouraged to attend three to six dinners.
