Letter to the Parish from Liz Johnson

After 10 years of being Kids Corner Coordinator, on September 16th, I resigned from my position here at Trinity. I was offered a position at my sister’s real estate firm, Jo Anne Johnson and Associates, to become her Public Relations Coordinator.
I have been so blessed that Trinity gave me the opportunity to start, create, and grow the programs at Kids Corner.  I started these programs because of my children and wanting to provide a safe and loving environment where they would  grow in their faith. I have been blessed to watch Kids Corner grow, to watch my staff grow, and to be a part of so many families’ lives here at Trinity and in the community!  I will truly miss that.  However, I am ready to let someone else have the memories and the experiences I have had the last 10 years. It has been an amazing journey!
I want to take this time to give a few special thanks.  First of all, I want to thank  the congregation, the vestry, and the staff here at Trinity for supporting and believing in my vision for Kids Corner;  second, to Larry Martz for being such an amazing mentor in regards to the Kids Corner budget, and for always supporting  Kids Corner; last, to Father Gerry for his unconditional support and guidance. He helped me grow professionally and spiritually through the years, and I will forever be grateful for that.
For these 10 years, I have been blessed with Trinity and Trinity Kids Corner, and I thank you for that!
