Boy Scout Eagle Project Assistance Needed

See this post from Trinity member and aspiring Eagle Scout, James Atteridge, and let’s all help him reach his goal.

My name is James Atteridge. I’m currently working on my Eagle Project. As many may know, my brother and I have helped Trinity’s Veterans Ministry for a number of years, and to further help veterans and heroes, I’m assisting the PAWS FOR HEROES organization.  The PAWS FOR HEROES program rescues dogs from shelters and teams them up, after training, with specific heroes who need a little doggie love and kindness.

My project involves building Bark Boxes and stocking them with dog-related products.  These boxes will be donated to heroes (veterans and first responders) when they get their service dogs.

Our heroes have done so much for us, and your donation will help our heroes and the rescued dogs, as they start their new lives together.

I’m need of the following to fill 20 Bark Boxes:

  1. Leads, collars and harnesses (small, medium and large)
  2. Bedding
  3. Dog food (dry and canned)
  4. Grooming supplies (brushes, combs, shampoo)
  5. Dog treats
  6. Dog toys

Any extras that cannot fit into the boxes will be donated to Montgomery County Animal Shelter.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at janineatteridge@gmail.com or call 913-232-0900.

Thank you for your assistance with my Eagle Project.
